Refurbishment - Southwark Street - London
Project Value - £750k This was a total refurbishment of a 1920s office space, with a limited electrical supply. The property was to be used with multiple tenants occupying variable amounts of floor area and tenancy lengths. The project involved the total removal of the old LPHW heating-only system and installing new lighting, air-conditioning, and ventilation throughout the property. The client's vision of an industrial look meant that the building services would remain on show to the new tenants. With careful design and working with the architects to improve the building fabric, the building's EPC rating was improved to a B-31. |

We use our design background to advise our clients on how they can ensure their properties are legally compliant for many years to come. We make sure any improvement works that may be needed are cost-effective and designed with the client's current and future needs in mind. |

TM44 ACI - Natural History Museum - London
Floor Area - 785,000 sq ft Air Conditioning Inspection on one of the UK's most famous buildings. The age and complexity of the building have resulted in over 4MW of cooling being added over the years. The building requires cooling for its occupants, along with keeping fragile exhibits protected and allowing for sensitive laboratory works to be carried out in climate-controlled conditions. The specialist nature of the building has resulted in multiple cooling and ventilation systems being installed all over the property, making the air conditioning survey both fun and challenging. |
